8. Wipes
Okay, so wipes might seem super obvious, but trust me, you cannot have enough of these on hand. Newborns are messy little creatures, and you’ll be using wipes for everything from spit-up to diaper changes (and everything in between!).
- Always have a pack within arm’s reach. Seriously, stash them everywhere.
- Opt for unscented wipes to avoid irritating the baby’s sensitive skin.
- Consider getting a wipes warmer – a warm wipe is way less shocking than a cold one, especially during those middle-of-the-night changes.
I always bring at least two packs of wipes to every newborn shoot. You never know when a major cleanup situation will arise, and it’s better to be overprepared than caught short-handed.
